Help Us Train A New Generation Of Mindfulness Teachers!

Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach have partnered with Sounds True to develop a two-year intensive certification program to train a new generation of mindfulness teachers. It is our goal for as many people as possible, especially Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), regardless of financial constraint, to have access to attend this program.

Inspired to remove financial barriers to attend the program for as many BIPOC students as possible, the Sounds True Foundation (formed in 2018), in partnership with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, has already raised upward of $100,000 to support full scholarships for this program … and we want to stretch further with your help. Help us make The Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program available to more students than ever before.

What Your Donation Can Do

The Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program is an expensive program to administer. Each participant spends a minimum of 180 hours in training with 40 of those hours working in a small group with a trained mentor as well as sharing one on one time with a mentor over the course of two years. This is what makes the program so valuable and life changing, and also so costly to attend.
